This video is really cool... I hope to have my kids do something similar in Flash!

Appointments
I hate waiting in Dr.'s offices. It makes no sense to me that I make an appointment for 2:40, show up at 2:30 (for paperwork), and don't get taken back until 3:10! It's ridiculous - I'm not sure why they make appointments at all...
I went to the dermatologist about some stuff on my arms, and ended up having to have a spot on my stomach biopsied. Needless to say, since I am scared to death of needles, it was fairly traumatic... needles, scalpel tool thing, more needles and thread...
And now the numbing medicine is starting to wear off - a little uncomfortable. And the results won't be ready for about a week. It's all about waiting... and more waiting...
Hopefully, I can find out what this crap is and get it gone!

Lone Bluebonnet
We ended up with lone bluebonnet amongst all our dandelions in the backyard - I couldn't resist photographing it.

Words
It's amazing to me how one little comment can utterly affect my reality. Someone I considered a friend made a comment to me that completely changed our relationship. Actually, it's more how she handled the situation and, seemed to me, to over-react to the whole thing. That relationship is now scarred because of that - it will never be the same.
That one comment made me completely re-evaluate my job, why I do what I do, and whether I am any good at it. It's amazing the impact that words uttered in a careless reaction can have...
I have learned the importance of thinking through things before blurting initial reactions out - you never know who is really listening or who takes those words to heart.
