satisfaction?

We brought nothing into the world, so we can take nothing out. But, if we have food and clothes, we will be satisfied with that. - 1 Timothy 6:7-8

Satisfaction? Why is it so hard for us to be satisfied? No matter what status we attain or what possessions we obtain, there is always more to be had. Why can we not be content with what God has given us? Maybe the unquenchable desires that we have are simply an outlet for our need to be closer to God ... to see Him. We cannot and will not be satisfied until we see Him. Do we strive to attain the one thing that we cannot have until our life, as we know it here on earth, is over? Can we learn to be satisfied?
